JVS, our goal is to be the bridge that unites people and the jobs
best suited to them. To achieve this goal, we have designed programs
that provide a wide range of benefits to the San Francisco public.
From mock interviews to job-search courses, from job placement to
computer training, if you are seeking a new job or to make a career
change, we are sure that we have a program to fulfill your needs.
Career Coaching & Advising: individual and group sessions to set career goals, plan career transitions, or address issues interfering with work satisfaction and career growth.
Employment
Programs: retention, reemployment and advancement services,
customized to individual needs, are available for up to one year
after initial employment.
Jewish
Community Programs: internships, workshops and scholarships
for the Jewish community.
Scholarship Programs: giving grant awards for vocational training to eligible clients.
Technology
Access Center (TAC): access to computers to upgrade skills and
search for jobs.
Training:
providing the skills necessary for success in various career pathways. Youth
Programs: designed to help youth at risk prepare for employment.
