Jobseekers have access to a variety of skill-building and job search resources in the JVS Technology Access Center (TAC)

The Technology Access Center (TAC) is a state-of-the-art computer facility and resource library designed to assist you with your job search and/or computer skills improvement.

JVS faces the tremendous challenge of closing the technology gap and bringing disadvantaged individuals into the 21st century. Computer access and training are the first steps.

The Technology Access Center is dedicated to empowering our community to use technology to improve their lives. Using the TAC, our community can increase their skill levels and knowledge, making them better able to pursue high-paying employment. Ultimately, the TAC works toward equipping community members with the technology skills that it takes to achieve a new or better job.

TAC hours:

Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.

The TAC provides computers with:

    • High speed Internet access
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • Tutorials in all of the Microsoft Office applications
    • Tutorials in Multimedia (FrontPage, HTML, Photoshop)
    • Resume writing software
