About the Program

Rev up your career in the Automotive industry with the JVS Automotive Pre-Apprenticeship program! We have partnered with top-notch community partners at the community college level to bring you an exceptional opportunity for high-quality technical education. Our program is specially designed to equip you with the basic technical Automotive skills to start a career in the automotive industry. From applying to interviewing, we’ve got you covered, ensuring you land positions within the Automotive industry that offer opportunities for advancement and economic mobility.

Program Details

  • This is an 18-week program run by JVS and CCSF
  • This program includes 9 weeks of career readiness, math, mechanical reasoning and test-taking strategies in-person classroom training

Eligibility

  • Must be a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and interested in securing meaningful employment with opportunities for economic growth
  • Must be able to provide a U.S. high school diploma, GED, or equivalency with translation
  • Should have a valid authorization to work in the United States, such as U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or an employment authorization card
  • Must be available and present for the entire duration of the program
  • Must enroll in CCSF Courses
  • Must have a Valid CA driver’s license
