Technology Access Center - Build Your Computer Skills

Invest in yourself by using the software programs at the TAC to increase your value to potential employers. Use your time at the TAC to enhance your computer skills.

Microsoft Office is a suite of software programs that help businesses be more productive. The most commonly used programs in this suite are Microsoft Word (for word processing), Excel (for number crunching), PowerPoint (for presentations) and Access (for managing data).  The current version of Microsoft Office is Office 2010, but most businesses continue to use one of the older editions, Office 2007 or Office 2003. Many employers also use website and image design software. Below is more information about how you can gain these skills.

Mouse Skills

Typing Skills
