get an administrative job at a solar, energy efficiency or green company.
In this training, you'll learn customer service, keyboarding,
Microsoft Office and Excel, business English, introduction to green
industries, and more.
- Energy efficiency enhancement - Prepare yourself for
a job in the energy efficiency
and auditing industry! This program covers energy efficiency
concepts, auditing principles and techniques, and weatherization
skills for students with a minimum of 2 years' relevant construction
experience.
- Recycling - Get yourself a green collar job!
In the classroom and in the field, The SF Clean City Recycling
and Resource Recovery Training will get you up to speed in the
waste reduction, recycling, reuse, and recovery fields.
- Transportation - The Goodwill Transportation Training will
prepare you to get your commercial driver’s license (CDL A).
Learn everything you need to know about customer service, industry
standards, Department of Transportation regulations, safety
protocols, environmentally efficient driving, and vehicle
maintenance practices. You'll receive hands-on training both
in a state of the art driving simulator and behind the wheel,
and our instructor will go with you to your commercial driving test.
