| Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Refresher Program: Get a head start on securing a nursing position in the Bay Area!
Brush up on your nursing skills and get some insight into the U.S. health care system.
Patient Services Representative (PSR) Training: Learn the basics of the healthcare industry basics and computer skills you need to pursue an administrative or customer service position at UCSF. Registered Nurse (RN) Refresher Program: Bring your existing nursing skills up to date and into compliance with U.S. standards so you can successfully compete for Bay Area nursing positions. This program is offered both in San Francisco and in Hayward. Psychiatric Nursing Program: Complete the psychiatric nursing coursework you need to sit for the NCLEX-RN exam. VESL for Medical Professionals: Fine tune your English language, medical terminology and computer skills specific to working in healthcare positions. This program is offered as a component of our LVN Refresher Program. Scholarships: Through a grant from the Jewish Community Endowment Fund, the JVS Scholarship Committee awards grants to nursing students pursuing training and licensure. |
