Health Care Bridge Program
 
Are you interested in a career in healthcare? Join the Healthcare Bridge program and start your new career today!

The JVS Healthcare Bridge program is for 17-21 year olds who are considering a healthcare career in their future. The program offers:

  • 3 units of credit at City College of San Francisco where you will get an overview of healthcare careers and medical terminology
  • Weekly workshops at JVS to build your computer, academic, and job readiness skills
  • A paid internship in a healthcare setting
  • Connections with employers who can help get you started in your career

To join this program you must:

  • Demonstrate you are 17-21 years old, low income, and eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Be available 30-35 hours per week for training and internship

The Healthcare Bridge program is funded through San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development.
