What Participants are Saying

“The Bootcamp was a great experience! I got solid information on how to update and tailor my resume for target jobs, and the mock interviews sharpened my interviewing skills, especially the critique at the end.” -Bootcamp Alum

This program is funded by the federal government. The primary goal is to help people improve their skills and find and keep jobs. In order to learn what works, the federal government was conducting a study requiring every eligible person to be selected through a lottery system. Those not selected through the lottery were not able to participate in this program or any other JVS Skills to Work in Technology or Job Search Accelerator programs. Current applicants for the Office Administration Bootcamp will no longer be participating in the Random Assignment Lottery. If you applied to this program prior to February 2018 and were placed in the Control Group, you are still ineligible for the training for the duration of the grant, currently through Fall 2019.
