What is TechSF?
TechSF is a job search program funded through the City of San Francisco’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development in partnership with the Department of Labor. The goal of the program is to help individuals find good jobs in tech and in industries that hire tech talent. For those who qualify, it provides no-cost technical skills training and/or career services.
What does TechSF offer?
TechSF offers technical skills training and career services (1:1 career coaching, career workshops, resume review, etc.).
When do classes start and how long does training completion take?
This will vary with each TechSF partner organization.
Do I need my own computer?
For on-location training, computers will be provided. However, to continue working on building and honing skills on your own time, we recommend you have access to your own computer.You can work with your TechSF provider once enrolled to learn more about where you can find computers for a reduced cost.
Are there any scholarships available?
TechSF is a free program, scholarships are not necessary.
