She received a master’s degree in Teaching from Brown University and is also a National Board Certified Teacher.

As JVS's Outreach and Engagement Manager, she helps spread the word about how JVS's training programs help people find jobs. A graduate of Emory University, Kari has worked with Impact Hub San Francisco, California Emerging Technology Fund, SFKIds.org, Independent Arts and Media and the Earth Day Network.
